What Volunteers Do?

You can choose the type of work that inspires you:

🏚️ Heritage House Maintenance

  • Monthly cleaning and care of the historic Portuguese House

  • Light repairs, sweeping, dusting, grounds upkeep

  • Helping prepare the home for visiting groups and events

🎉 Event Support & Cultural Outreach

  • Assist at our Festa celebrations and community events

  • Help with setup, check-in, booths, and activity stations

  • Greet guests and share our cultural mission

📚 Archives & Genealogy

  • Organize, scan, and digitize historical materials

  • Help research records for genealogy and family history

  • Support the preservation of documents, photos, and artifacts

🤝 Community Engagement

  • Support membership drives

  • Distribute flyers, assist with newsletters, help with outreach

  • Collect and record stories from elders and community members
