Membership in the Portuguese Culture & Historical Center (PCHC) is more than a sign-up—it’s a commitment to preserving the legacy, traditions, and contributions of Hawaiʻi’s Portuguese community. Whether you are Portuguese, married into a Portuguese family, or simply appreciate our culture, we welcome you with open arms.
Our members are the pillars who help sustain our programs, events, youth engagement, scholarship initiatives, heritage preservation projects, and the future development of our cultural center.

You can become a member by:
- Filling out the online membership application (recommended)
- Or printing and mailing a completed form
- Or registering at one of our community events
Membership is open to individuals, couples, and families who share our mission of preserving and promoting Portuguese culture in Hawai‘i.
Membership Includes Single Membership or the Entire Family
All children 18 years old and younger living in your household are automatically included as non-voting members at no extra cost.
Membership is based on the calendar year, and new members who join mid-year receive a quarterly prorated rate applied to their second-year renewal.
